Cleveland Hawks Vs Ignatius Park College (IPC)
Score: Cleveland Hawks 22 – Ignatius Park College (IPC) 16

The Cleveland Senior team played their best game of the season.  Coming up against a team rich with Rugby League history and a culture of success,  the Hawks stood strong recording there first ever victory against IPC.  The Hawks now stand at 3 wins in a row, the best start to the league season in recent years with victories against Heatley (42-12), Townsville State High (forfeit) and IPC (24-18).
The Hawks started strong scoring the first try to lead the match, before a spirited comeback from the Iggy Boys had them leading with little time remaining.  Led from the front by team captain and fellow senior players and some spirited tackling by one individual (18 tackles total), the Hawks dug deep to score the last two tries of the game putting the Hawks in front after the final whistle.
The Hawks played the best team game of Rugby League in recent memory making it impossible to single out a man of the match.
